As above I did the same cars at elvington too with 6th gear. Fantastic time and also told to really give it some. In all honestly I backed off in the atom going through the staggered cones when the steering had hardly any effect at such speeds lol. Definitely recommend.

12.7v at the battery when engine is off is a healthy battery. But with engine running and a working alternator you want to see 14v +

I have installed whats known as the button type led side repeater on to the side of my front cycle wings.

Thanks Im currently filling it in now. Section 4e will the vehicle be requiring a passenger vehicle test Im guessing yes so design gross weight Im putting 1050kg. I dont reallu have much as I purchased the kit 2nd hand from the chap who got it new. He had misplaced all receipts from Robin Hood and others for the engine rebuild etc. I have the v5 for the donor but thats pretty much it bar receipts for parts Ive bought. I havent quite finished it yet but I suppose I could put todays date on the form as it will be a few week getting a date so it will be ready for then. So do we need physically post anything but actually send/ upload it all to their site instead?

Evening all, just about to start the application for my Iva. Looking through the paperwork what did people put for the date of manufacture? Also did people include all their reciepts and send the pictures in on a cd or usb pen drive? Also ANY advice and tips would be greatly received. Thanks Mike.

Generally you can log in to the ip camera itself via its IP address and set up the ddns info up do it automatically updates no ip. Thats what I have done but from nvr.

Im going through Iva in the next few months and have a pinto running r1 carbs so yes Im concerned and certainly not stubburn its just been a long project to which I have finally got around to completing and have far to much investment in the engine and certainly no time available to change now.

So that would need welding into the shock mount tube as that then slides into the roll bar tube. Bit of a silly requirement surely as the bolt is to stop the bracket sliding out.

As above how have people filled/ blocked the back of the side panel from water spraying into the cockpit of rear tyres and Im sure I read somewhere someone failed Iva on rear shock mount not having a tube welded in to prevent the chassis cruahing when bolt was tightened. Ill put a picture up of mine when I get in the garage tonight it has the original cable fitted and comes straight out I tot he drivers footwell although Im using the electronic output on the type 9 on the passenger side to run my dials.

If youve got a compressor Id highly recommend purchasing an air one. I know they arent cheap but you will be very glad of it.

Hi guys, do I need to apply to dvla for a vin number or can I create my own which would be nice if so I realise the last 6 digits are numbers but apart from that can it be any mix of numbers/letters in any order.

Just putting my dash together at the minute I have a load of savage switches that I plan on installing but for getting it through the Iva Im using the Sierra stalks so was just using the switches for the light up symbols (the telltales) will it be a problem using them although pressing it wouldnt do anything as its all on the Sierra equipment?

No dont have a donor left just some odd parts in boxes. I think Im going to try another steering gaitor abit like the cv boot corrugated type which should cover the majority then the cover I have from kitspares just for the end.

Attached is a photo or what Ive got to cover up hence dont think the little covers will work or look great.

Thanks guys. Yes I ordered the ones from kitspares but have failed slightly on the fact I ordered 2 top joint ones and only 2 steering ones not the 4 as I can now see I need. Ill put a pic up shortly of my set up as Im wondering if its best to use another steering gaiter meeting the existing one which would cover the threaded barrel extender and its lock nuts then just the steering cover I have over the track rod end.
