  1. Went to the last one and there was a varied collection of cars there. I think the journey there will be a bit far this month due to being in Cornwall. Nick

    Mot Question

Mine was registered in 2007 and doesn't have a cat, (2 litre pinto) and passed mot on Friday and tested to the doner engine date. Nick

    Mot Pass

Sorry Chris, much longer than 5 mins. It's the outer GRP section I'm renewing with a 2nd hand part. On top of that it's 10 years since I fitted the original. Nick

    Mot Pass

2b passed it's MOT this morning (yay). Can't drive it now though, because I've started changing a rear wheel arch. Nick
  5. Hope it's not too late, just sent my entry form to you Becky. Nick
  6. Been - ate cake - came home Good to catch up with everyone there. Nick
  7. I'm lucky to have only been out of work once, over 25 years ago, and by the sounds of it the system hasn't got any better. I was made redundant so went to the job centre, and was told I couldn't claim until after 4 weeks due to severance pay. I dutifully arrived at my new appointment after 4 weeks to be told I was in the wrong and was 4 weeks late registering. Nick
  8. Hope to be there, might even bring the Missus if she's a good girl, lol. Nick
  9. It's been in the diary for ages, but still got to check with the Boss. Will let you know soon. Nick
  10. Good turn out of cars, and a good variety. Sort of spur of the moment run out, but glad I went. Will try to go to a couple more this year. Nick
  11. Only way I can get 8 cylinders at the moment is to drive 2 cars. Lol.

  14. I should be there, Sue's a maybe. Nick
  15. I'm willing to help out 1 lunchtime. Nick
  16. I know someone who had a part built 2b that had an auto box fitted, when he changed to type 9 he had to weld back in part of the chassis that had been removed due to auto box being wider I think. It's since been sold on at least twice so no further info. Nick
  17. Andi, I'll take the starter motor if no good for Steve49er. See you at Stoneleigh Nick
  18. I'm hopefully meeting Dave (Hawknorth) at 10:30am Saturday 30th April to travel to Stoneleigh, if anyone wants to join us please post a reply, and we'll know who to look for. If not, we'll see you there, (Is there any rules on how early beer o'clock can be?) Nick
  19. Depends whether I can get packed before Saturday or not for a start before 10 am. Nick
  20. I should be able to set off any time Saturday if anyone wants to throw up a time for meeting at Tibshelf or Trowell services. Suppose I'd better go out to the garage and check the camping gear. See you all next weekend, Nick

Keith, call them Spring Mods, and you're perfectly on time. Nick
  22. Good turn out this month, 2 kits in attendance. Dan was trial running for Scotland, and I'm enjoying mine starting easy as well as only having a 15 to 20 minute journey home. Nick
  23. I'll be there, but won't know if the Missus will be with me until nearer the time. ( probably 6pm on Wednesday ) Nick

I've got Cobra roadster 7's in mine, fit with loads of room, sit lower and look better. Not as comfy on a long run though. Nick
