Hi, and thanks to everyone Everything went well, then I went to the Church. Had a good laugh on the golf course, then onto the most perfect Wedding, followed by a fantastic reception. Everyone complimented us on the efforts we put in, from the hand made invites onwards. We can't believe all those people were there, having a great time because of us Hope to see you all at the shows, and maybe an area meeting or 2. Hi All, just thought I'd let you know, I'm getting married tomorrow!!!! Well, she's at the hotel, and I'm at home, she's worried about getting the bridesmaids ready tomorrow, and I'm worried about getting up on time to play golf before going to the church So here it is, my goodbye to "singledom", but I'm still planning to have my Hood on the road for Harrogate, or maybe even Newark!!!! Hi, Phil got some donor parts from RH and we presume the rear end is from a 1600, but he's got the 2000 injection engine, gearbox and instruments from a donor. This maybe the problem!!!! I'm sure time will tell. By the way Phil, if you're really stuck, I could lend you my dif, but you've got to help me remove it and re-fit it. Good luck Nicko

Hi, I got mine from Allyfab (01246822353)(07743976937) too. It fits in a 2b chassis perfectly, and I'm sure Bryn (the owner of Allyfab) said it was 47litres. I sent him my sierra sender, and he modified it and fitted it for me. I think it was about £150 ( hid the receipt from the missus and now can't find it) Nicko

Hi, Try a Capri rad. It's the same size as the cortina rad, but the top hose connection is straight as opposed to 90 degrees. It fits in my 2B a treat, but mine's a wishbone model, so your's may be a little different Nicko

Hi, When my bro-in-law wanted a plate for his trailer tent, the guy in the local car spares said he needed to see documents to make a plate, but he would sell him the backing sticker, then the numbers and letters on a separate receipt!!!! Nicko

Hi, I've used a new Capri radiator (£50ish from a local Rad and aircon place). Modified the Sierra top hose, and used a flexi bottom hose for a Cortina (Halfords supplied). The only mods you need to do to this Rad is to shorten the flanges at either side a little. Hope this helps, Nicko

Try your local car spares shop, my one do them for between £5 and £12 a pair with bulbs and sticky pads. Nicko

Hi I had exactly the same problem, cured by earthing the instrument panel!! Can't remember which wires to connect, but usually brown on the sierra loom, and black on the VG loom. Hope this helps. Nicko

Hi, from memory my vids say the magic measurment is 66 inches. I think this is from the screen top, over the roll bar and down to the top of the rear panel. Hope this helps!! Nicko

Hi all, just got a quote for my 2B from Osborne & sons, Link insurance for £135.95. Thats for 5000 miles, fully comp, with discount for being RHOCAR member. They said the discount is usually larger, but that's the least they charge for a policy. Nicko.

Hi Chris, this is from info I got of this site ALTERNATOR Orig red to large term VG large brown to large term VG brown/yellow to small term VG small brown not used After cutting off the multi-plug as Warren says. The original red is the large diameter cable that runs from the battery. Nicko
