after my over heating problems on the stilton run i have changed head gasket and head fitted new radiator and shortened and re routed pipework just got to fit intercooler tomorrow then ready for a test drive when it stops raining

i seem to remember GBS do an adapter plate then you just get the rest from euro car parts i gave the plates i had to Unclechief dont think he will ever use them maybe worth sending him a PM the plates in Bobs link are wot i gave keith

well wot an event full day just to let you all know i did make it home and come to the conclusion the head gasket has gone thanks to Gaz for lending his socket set and getting his hands dirty i hope to have better luck next year

also the collar is made of a thicker Ali so has probably strengthened the tank

although the collar is welded together it is bolted to the tank i cut a hole and bolted it and made a cork gasket
