Hi Paul, In photoshop open up the picture, use one of the selection tools to isolate the area of colour you want to change. Go to image- adjustments- replace colour- hold the shift key and drag the cursor over the colours you want to change then drag the hue slider to change into any colour you want. Had to "import" the wheels though. A bit rough but you get the overall image. Andi

Hi all, My inlet manifold (Bike carbs to pinto) are slightly out, mainly on runners 3 and 4 by about 7mm on the left hand side of the inlet ports. I am told this could affect air/fuel flow. Could I grind this quarter moon shape out of the head without totally screwing the engine up? Obviously I cannot grind away the inlet runners as they are only thin tube. Thanks Andi

I am about to use a Merc for a few days that will be borrowed of a friends friend. It has no insurance which I can get off Trinity Insurance (my insurers for the Hood) for peanuts for the 4 days I will need it. When I went to look at the car, the tax has expired, my less than sharp mate has said his mate can tax it using trade plates (temp insurance). This just sounds dodgy to me, and I dont fancy driving 600 miles through ANPR cameras to find this out. Anyone shed any light on this? Thanks Andi

Yes its official, I went to Torque Tune and blew a blistering 82 BHP (and thats when I left). Air filter socks knocked off 10 BHP so I drove home without them, smells of petrol a lot on acceleration though. Put 1.40mm jets from 1.65. The car has much more power now, but 82 BHP??? thats cr**p This is with a stage 2 head, FR32 cam, bike carbs and lumenition ignition. The car does 111mph (sat nav on track) and doesnt have a problem keeping up with other pinto hoods, 82BHP cant be surely??
