  1. Yes I think mine were too. I'll see if I can find some old photos
  2. Yes, welcome all new and old. Be great to meet you all in person if you can get to the National Kit car show at Malvern. Come for the day, or even better come for the weekend and stay over, and drink beer. (lots of it) https://nationalkitcarshow.co.uk/ Andi
  3. Looks the biz now mate. And dont let people put you off sliding pillars. My 2b ran great with them. Andi
  4. Yup, bike carb pump should give you correct pressure. The jet size is very individual and with no rhyme and reason most commonly 1.2 to 1.8 but only a rolling road can determine the absolute spot on size. Like Keith said, worth every penny. Somewhere in the middle of those figures should make it run ok (if not hugely impressively)
  5. Oxford Blue RH driving on the a449 towards Wolverhampton about 4pm today. Was it anyone on here?
  6. Especially when you are taxing 3 vehicles and none of them can even get into Birmingham City Centre without an extra pollution charge. Having said that, it does help to pay for the upstanding quality and maintenance of our envious road networks
  7. Welcome all. Start asking the questions, any questions, as they love that on here. Andi
  8. Following on from a resurgence of "What was your first car" post I feel it only fair to ask "What was your worst car you have actually owned and why?" My hands down winner was a FIAT uno, Jeez it was crap, it really was a Fix It Again Tomorrow car. It was a nasty little rust bucket that did 0-60 in 30 odd seconds. Clutch went after trying this. Power steering went, coil springs, engine everything went wrong on it at some point and I only had it for 3 months or so. More than that, it was just so boring to drive. In fact even as I type this I can feel my blood pressure going up. If you had to rely on it for a job, you would have been catching a bus to the jobcentre very quickly.

Has anyone used this product? Maybe more useful if you have an old landy or a classic. It certainly spends a lot of money on its hype

  19. Yes. He used to have them in 2 thickness sizes. Can't remember what they were, but I had the thickest pair. My 2b was so far out, that I ended up putting both on, then taking one side off and it was almost bang on. Andi
  20. Also just to point out, a volunteer would not be jumping into the dark abyss. You would be getting full support from the outgoing relevant committee member(s) and / or the committee. Fresh ideas come from new volunteers Andi
  21. A huge welcome to you all. Quite a few in from down South, which is always good to spread the mix about. Please fire away with the questions, no matter how big or how small. They love questions on this site. Andi Mr Chairman
  22. I would have loved to do the rally at Weston park on the Sunday, but I will be in the States. Typical, it's just down the road for me
