  1. Nope but would park in the car park and not on the field. Where I use to park camper away from pub slightly. Nice and flat.
  2. Also with change of landlord dogs are now welcome in the pub. Cheers Lee
  3. All - Next weekend all confirmed with the landlord. Looking forward to seeing you all and I will try and book the weather, I'm afraid the use of the "flat" that Tony used to let us use for a shower is no longer available as in use so anyone really desperate can come next door. We never used to have it in the early years. Camping available from Friday afternoon. Landlord is expecting us. I will be up after work on Friday night. Anyone want to come for the run out on Saturday morning we shall be heading off for the day at 10:15 am, Route yet to be planned!!! Anyone still want to come who hasn't said yes yet - no problems. Just drop me a note here so we have a rough idea of numbers for the landlord. Meals in the pub are very good. Will be a more eclectic mix of cars now but all petrol heads and great social weekend. See you all next Friday. Cheers Lee

    Thanks

Bloody arm still sore after getting it caught between wheel and wheel arch . With the lip in the arch return a fleece on and 17 in alloys there just wasn't enough room - Wheel had to come off. Good to hear engine fire using fairy squeezy bottle as a makeshift fuel tank and quick rewire of the starter. Tea and biccies were great.. Cheers Lee

  11. Camping chair bag is ideal. Normally large enough if you roll the hood. Also old laptop bags are ideal as Steering wheel bags
  12. Yep think you are right Steve. It's a shame rhocar didn't get a mention in the clubs section.
  13. Plus ignore all the nonsense about 3phase and clean power supplies. 13 -amp plug and an extension is fine. Good choice. Hope you enjoy it.
  14. I did lots of research. The Clarke mig 151 te I thinks was about the best. Brilliant but of kit. Forget the 140 gas and gas less versions. Son had it waste of time. Machine mart regularly do vat free daysweeks and would save you 20 %. If not urgent.
  15. http://www.carbodypanels4u.co.uk/ford/escort/2-door-saloon-1975-1980-mk2/indicator-stalk-1975-1977 use link above. still available brand new. it says for mk escort but the cortina stalks are the same

    Hoodless Hoodie

Ian the 5.0 SL is only refined at partial throttle. And there is refined and refinery. Feels like I need one dragging round after me. I average 12 to the gallon on the crawl into work when I take it, which is not that often. Its a lot more on a run. Still puts a smile on my face when I boot it though.... Glad you are getting out in the Hood. Cheers Lee
  18. In light of recent experiences at our usual venue, I am taking the opportunity of moving the RHOCaR monthly meeting to a new venue. Not too far away but out in the sticks a little. We shall also be changing the monthly meeting date to make it easier to remember to the FIRST of the Month from February next year onwards. Lovely quiet rural pub with large car park called the Rock and Heifer just outside Bradford in Thornton. - (Baz and I have visited the last two Mondays just to make sure it is OK There is a Google Maps link below to show you exactly where the pub is located. Now please pay attention. For NOVEMBER we shall keep the date to the Second Monday of the Month. So That is MONDAY the 10th NOVEMBER ........ Then In DECEMBER we shall MOVE the date to the FIRST MONDAY of the Month. SO That will be the 01st of DECEMBER. FINALLY I would like to arrange a bit of an XMAS dinner. But the Rock and Heifer doesn't do food in the week.... So I propose that we do the RHOCaR Christmas meal in the January Meeting on the 05th January.... (That's the 1st Monday of the Month) . I suggest we go to the Dalesway pub on the same road as the the previous pub (Airedale Heifer) about 300 yards away - We have been before when the Airedale Heifer was closed one month. I know it is after Xmas but everyone is busy leading up to Chrimbo and will be something to look forward to in the New Year. For the meal on the 05th January - please let me know if you can come and for how many (Wives, friend etc welcome). I will ask at the next two meetings as well and then I can arrange to book a table. So sorry for messing about with the dates and venues - but come February next year it will be a lot easier. 1st Monday of the Month at the Rock and Heifer..... : Rock & Heifer Inn, Rock Ln, Thornton, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD13 3RH, UK Link: <https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=The+Rock+and+heifer+thornton&aq=&sll=53.797001,-1.754379&sspn=0.045981,0.100164&vpsrc=0&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Rock+%26+Heifer+Inn,+Rock+Ln,+Thornton,+Bradford+BD13+3RH,+United+Kingdom&t=m&z=16&iwloc=A> Derek if you are reading this can you update the magazine for next publication - please?? Cheers Lee

    Lost Member Card

Peter - Bazwazy had it but I think he handed it to Chris Newlands - who no doubt will be along shortly. So it isn't lost.
