    Mt75 Vrs Type9

It unbolts to reveal a flange --just like the one on the diff.. Take off the metal gearstick holding monstrosity and make your own lever mount - you can do it a lot narrower , it then fit in the tunnel , no probs. the ball for my lever was mounted onto a plate attached to the top of the central tubes, a link from there to the gearbox push/pull/twist shaft. The only problem I experienced in the standard 2B chassis was that the prop/gearbox flange was exactly where the dashboard down tubes were -- see www.gbowden.co.uk --Mods Graham PS I ran with the 3.92 lobro diff.
  4. It was attached to the ECU, not the speedo head (mechanical). I never did try to make use of it. Gragham
  5. Paul, Which bits are you going to use? The mini motor and drive cam sit up in my passenger foot well - attachments to the screen support triangles and the cross tube behind the dash. The guide pipes with its internal drive wire thingy runs across behind the windscreen demister tubes. As my wipers are clappers I have one drive box facing forward and one back. These are poked through elongated holes in the scuttle. Standard mini drive boxes will give you a sharp angle onto the screen, but better yet is to use extended shafts ( land rover I believe) to decrease the angle of attack. 8" blades on shortened mini wiper arms finished the job. Which Sierra Has?

My Sierra sapphire 2.0 I4 DOHC efi had MT75 and 3.92 7.5" diff (not LSD). It also had lobro half shafts and rear discs. Just fitted 3.62 7"" with lobros. Graham B
  9. I bent the arms so that they meet perfectly in the middle. They are almost but not quite square along the bottom when parked . It was all about the length of the arms. Using land rover long shaftedwheelboxes can increase the angle from the scuttle and make the wipe easier. Graham B
  10. Mines a wishbone chassis, the engine mount plate is attached to the plough. Graham B
  11. I.m running a Netgear.off the Ambit modem supplied by Virgin Media.
  12. No idea, but I ran my MT75 in the 2B for 5 years by cable. Seemed sturdy and the routing was quite gentle. Graham

    Insurance Claim

Pete, Depends on where you bought it. £399 tor £499 --RAm size, HDDsize, software bundle. Everyone had the same machine but different specs. Winter 2002 If I remember correctly. Graham
  19. I dont know of any spec for seat mounting bolts. Mine are all M8 through the seat itself and self tappers holding the frame up to the chassis rails ( its underneath and wont pull through!) Graham B
  20. Daz, I made the holes oin the header plate a little larger than required and champherred the inner edge. passed the tube through and belled out to fit. Welded on the inside and ground out to smooth. Sorry, I have skipped them or would show you the results. Curves were modelled with welding wire and then transferred to the pipe. The worst bit was the collector. Graham b
  21. Last offer. If no takers they will now be scrapped. My rebuilt ( 15000 miles) 2.0 DOHC efi. Rebore New shells Pistons Rings Water pump etc. (minus starter motor) 2 x MT75 one attached (as it came out) PLUS spare As I have to put up a price "cost of scrap removal" £25 Graham B

    2b Shocks

Pete Got Protechs on the front and Gaz on the back. The Gaz sometimes squeak. I got personnal service from Protech although they are a few pounds dearer. ( I ordered them too short ( same length as the original Zimmers) and they sent me longer eye ends to fit properly). They always have a stand at the shows. Graham B

    Iva Test

Well done. We have seen a lot worse. At least they all seem do-able without major un-construction. ( wrecking it). Graham B
