  1. I have been caught in the rain a few times and as a rule have the hood in the boot, planning on making a surrey top to go with my new 1/2 doors and wind deflectors
  2. Thanks Alan, Andy I think they're a RH special!! I was looking at those Andy as I reckon I could make them fit. Only really need them for bloody MOT as try not to go out in the rain.
  3. Hi Not that i use car much in the rain but just noticed that my wipers are completely perished, I think they are the original ones from build some 15 yrs ago. The car is a super spec and according to Alan & Andy its probably a sierra wiper unit but the blades are ??? They arms look to have been modified!! and the blades are 8" and seem to screw to the arms. I saw a post from some years back Alan and you were changing yours but you never said in the post. If I have to change arms I will but it seems an unnecessary cost. So what blade do I order, I think I can fit 9" ones on current arms.
  4. I thought the dash was part of the scuttle on the Super Spec or I'm sure it is on mine

Yeah Rob is very helpful and knowledgeable, helped me out a few times with my RH and kettle is always on!! If your ever this way its always worth popping in to see what new "project" he has on the go, just dont mention the "Sun runner"!!! There seems to be quite a few of us coming out of the woodwork in SW, if your on Facebook look for Kit Car Blats and ask to join the SW Whatsapp Group if you haven't already. Theres a chap called Josh Nell who lives just outside Liskeard and he is trying to get me to join him doing Autosolos at Perrenporth Airfield with the Camel vale motor club if your interested

Have you looked on the DNA owners club. That would be my first shout For some reason can't get it to link but search for DNA owners club. There's also a Facebook group "DNA and Extreme kit car owners"
  11. Just looked and there are no markings on the lights at all, shows how things have changed I suppose and not always for the best
  12. Not sure, will check tomorrow
  13. Mine route along top of centre tunnel
  14. I will be changing mine in next couple of weeks so if your not in a hurry they will be available, they are what was on the car when it went through IVA/SVA and was what came as part of the SuperSpec kit, as you can see they mount low on the arch and I think the backing is slightly wedge shaped
  15. Something like this maybe, if it ok for Caterham should be ok for IVA https://caterhamparts.co.uk/other/3044-exhaust-guard-6q-side-exit-vvc-rover.html I have see ones you can get your own design laser cut into , a bit more pricey tho!!
  16. It's coming along nicely, fingers crossed you can get it on the road this year. Could you not just fit a chrome trim to tail pipe and some sort of heat guard to cover the silencer?
  17. I think you will find he's having issues with it if you look in the electrics forum he has a post on getting it to work correctly. How's your build going since I saw you at Mt Edgecombe last year
  18. Make Robin hood Model Superspec Engine 2l rover T series Gearbox MT75 What I like Gold Titanium Coating What I would change Suspension and shame you can't tune the engine
  19. Very true, it's what makes kit cars interesting no two are the same
  20. Well there on, used a piece of carbon fibre as a back plate as the yellow underneath is 20 yrs brighter. Fogs next
  21. Cool, all I can find are the Chinese ones that you can change the colour of the actual beams!!
  22. Wow, were they a custom job as I e only seen them with black inserts
  23. I take it your headlights aren't green and it's just the way photo has come out
  24. I think the bottom photo is a stock photo and is something entirely different I know what you mean about easier to get in and out with removable wheel, there a god send
  25. Hmm food for thought, it seems that to much back pressure is bad and to little is bad, but also in the equation is exhaust velocity and scavenging. Ideally you have an exhaust tuned to your car but that's never happening (wayyy to expensive) so may keep the 2" pipe or step up slightly to 2 1/4" and will see how it goes with & without sports cat. Keep you posted once I get bits ordered and fitted
