  1. Been away for a couple of weeks and noticed a load of Mount enquiries in my inbox. Think I have replied to all of them?? However, have a new batch being machined this week so will be ready for shipping next weekend. They will be in milled aliminium and most likely will not be anodised although I think I have a few Sierra ones that are red from the last batch. Payment is exactly the same as at the beginning of the thread but just drop me a message when you have paid so I can pull my finger out of my ass
  2. Thanks one and all
  3. I can't see why there would be but is there any difference between the Transit and Car engine?

    Recon Engine

Blimey, A Rio for an engine is rather pricey. Thanks for the replies everyone. Will do some leg work when I know exactly what needs doing.

    Recon Engine

Cheers Steve. Will probably do it myself but was hoping someone might do a bottom end for me locally for a reasonable price as I'm rushed off my feet at the moment..

    Keep It Clean

If you have any tarnishing I would use Autosol and lots of elbow grease, otherwise window cleaner is fine.
  7. Has anyone got the wiring diagram and destructions for a Megajolt that they fancy posting?
  8. Just bouncing this thread for Kev but if anyone else wants s set then let me know.

    Rack Mounts

I can supply you some or you can buy them direct from GBS who we supply them to. I will dig up the thread in the For Sale section so you can detirmine which ones you need as there's a couple of different Racks out there.

    Recon Engine

Does anyone know who recons Pinto engines in the South? Thanks
  11. Quite a few of them coming out of the woodwork.
  12. I found a way to stop my Girlfriend giving me a blow job. I Married her
  13. Sounds like my build history (apart from the shooting bit ) Well done fella.
  14. Piccies?
  15. I can't remember what Starter I used on my Silvertop. It was a case of which fitted closest and then set to the side of the sump with an Angle Grinder. However, I wouldn't do this unless you're pretty handy at Ali welding as it's a bugger. Shortening the sump is a piece of cake compared.
  16. Glad you're on the mend.

    2b Plus Sump?

Might need some photo's and dimensions.
  18. Or this one may be up your street http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1996-FORD-SIERRA-GT-BASE-BLUE-/260755997609?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cb644c3a9
  19. No. It will be on your cars age related plate and not the engine. Silvertop or Blacktop. You might like to buy a cheap car and chop the rest in for scrap to make your money up. Fine. Depends what flywheel option you go for. Probably 1.8 GBS do some Zetec for the 2B unless you want to move the engine back a bit and reweld the Chassis in which case make your own. As above I would say something like a ZX9 set with a Megajolt is the easiest way. Spiggot and release bearings depending on what you do with Clutch / Flywheel. I suggest using the Pinto Alternator as it's a bit smaller and plenty man enough for a bare Zetec, shortened sump (?), pedals (?), Pinto starter fits Silvertop with small mod to Sump, fuel pump, take the pulleys on and replace the water pump with a reverse direction (escort?) and fit a V wheel for belt. That should be enough to get you started
  20. I have lots of sympathy as I hate taking any paperwork out of it's shiney plastic bag in case it gets mucky. I will try it, try it again, try doing it a different way, ring a mate, moan at the manufacturers and if none of that helps, will break into the protective wrapper
  21. Lovely pics Shafty. Mine love the wind in their face
  22. The cloud you're bouncing on, I suggest sticking your feet through the floor and peddleing it home Flintstone style
  23. So, don't try and hide it. Tell us how you're really feeling Well done. Lot of car there for the money.

    Skid Plate

I don't see any problem with fitting one but would favour a steel option.
