    Exhaust Wrapping

With the benefit of hindsight, I'd have left the thermal wrap of the manifold and put it round the bottom of my right leg. Definitely more benefit there.
  2. I used the Clint Eastwood method for mounting my mirrors. Hang 'em High You've got a better chance of seeing over and around your rear arches if your mirrors are mounted higher up. IVA tester used all the cones and poles and I passed no problem.
  3. NTDWM but it's cheap and might suit someone http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/stuff-sale/toolbox-engine-336889
  4. As above, I'm after a pair of 108mm Lobro driveshafts. Ideally I'd also like the hubs, calipers etc. so I can convert to discs at the same time. Shafts need to be 108mm not 100mm to fit the LSD I've already got. Thanks.
  5. The sad thing is that these smaller factors can't compete with the likes of ECP and GSF and many are now closing. Would much rather be served by someone who's worked in the trade and who can offer advice, not just hand over bits and take the money. Must be a sign of old age!!
  6. I like Eurocarparts, but sometimes you just can't a good old fashioned motor factors.
  7. Filler hole should be down the auto box dip stick tube shouldn't it?
  8. Big turn out boosted by the Leics lads, thanks to everyone for turning up.
  9. Rover 800 bonnet strut had a mechanical lock built in. Open bonnet fully, then it drops down an inch onto the lock. If you pull down on the bonnet it won't close. To shut the bonnet, raise it slightly to disengage the lock, then pull down as normal. Second hand struts will work even with reduced gas pressure.

  11. I've been made aware of this event by Mike Lynock (and it's very local to me). The school are asking for potential themes and he has suggested a turn out of cars that's guaranteed to generate some interest and help raise funds. The event is planned to run from 1PM to 4PM and Mike should have more details if you contact him via pm. http://www.rhocar.or...omMemberID=3222 or email mikelynockt@yahoo.co.uk As more information becomes available we'll add it here. The school is here: Wilnecote High School, Tinkers Green Road, Wilnecote, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 5LF https://maps.google....=classic&dg=brw
  12. Had hoped to come along but phoned a mate for a quick chat and 90 mins later I had a worn out ear. It's more time than I normally spend on the phone in a year.

  15. Totally agree, it's a tired format now just recycling old gags. It's about 5 years overdue a makeover (like 2 of the presenters).
  16. Does Quentin 2 L's like willy Willson show you how to wind the mileage back?
