  5. Finally gave up on the idea of putting a v6 peugeot engine into a kit car, its now in a skip.
  6. Whilst steamer has been busy with the charger side of things i,ve been occupied doing other bits and bobs to get the car ready, Last weekend was creating a fuel return to the tank. The stylus uses an mg midget fuel tank which has no return, i didnt want to drill or modify the tank it self so i set about making a new fuel sender with fuel return built in. the old plastic sender was not modifyable in any way so i bought a universal one and adapted it to fit. next problem was the gauge will only read half full when when actully full due to the shallow nature of the mg tank so the fix will hopefully be this, thanks for the heads up (knights)
  7. Long gone sorry

  10. If my memory serves me correctly the gbs plenuims were cracking in non boosted applications aswell, I,m sure that was the early versions. Boosted is a different kettle of fish... looking forward to the results !

  12. Unfortunately not I.ve reduced it as far as possible
  13. Just bought a new universal fuel sender to modify for my mg midget fuel tank nestled in the back of the stylus. It's range is 26ohm empty 180ohm full unfortunately due to the shallow nature of the tank at full it reads half. Anyone any ideas how I can change this. Ie at half I need 180ohm to make the gauge read full...
  14. If it's a lightweight then run for the hills !!!!! They are bad news, look on here for more info. As for price you would get a nice gbs zero or 2 Robin Hood 2bs for that money
  15. Caravan/ trailer reversing competition,
  16. How on earth did my positive thread about a great weekend turn to this!!! Go, don't go I don't care but if you are non supporter of this or any other event don't dare to to moan about the fact that there is only Stoneleigh and this left. Before long there will be nothing left in the kit world. As for mx5s if you really think about it they are far better than any kit car, I don't see any kits with 100000+ miles on, warm dry reliable, fun to drive and cheap.... Let all chill and be friends
  17. Be interested in the quick shift, but unable to collect
  18. What can I say absolutely brilliant, well done everyone involved. Best venue yet. The kids all had a great time as did the adults. The food van was a great addition aswell.
