Also this would be a good opportunity to bounce some ideas around regarding things to do for the rest of this year including, run outs, monthly meeting locations, convoy to Stoneleigh, visiting other area meets, mods, tyre kicking and anything else that springs to mind All welcome, kits or not. I had one front wheel locking up on braking on my 2b. Turned out there was a slight bulge in my tyre due to the car standing over winter. I jacked the wheel a couple of ml off the floor and rotated and you could then see it Andi

I'll see if I can book the day off. Should have an answer by next week.. Scrub that idea.......... I need to move house before I can do anything posh like keeping my car within 70 miles of where I live But fingers crossed the seller may hurry himself up by then..

Hi all, I have not too long ago been appointed the RHOCAR area secretary for the Staffordshire region and I just wanted to let people know who I am and what will be happening in the Staffs area. For the interim period I have started a regular meeting which will be on the first Monday of each month at the George and Dragon Meaford Rd, Meaford, Stone ST15 0PX starting at 19.30 . This takes place at the same time as a classic club meeting and in the summer it is packed out, so plenty to look at. However I want to get other suggestions for any other dates times or venues that people may prefer. Also runs out in the summer are on the cards so I will be putting forward some suggestions for this. There is already Stoneleigh kit car show in May to run to and also Hoodstock in Leicestershire in August/September time. Or if there is a stunningly beautiful weekends that are crying out for an impulsive countryside run out to a country pub, get in touch Also as a club we can be active in supporting and helping local peoples builds or technical issues, free tool hire or getting local help if we ourselves need it. You could be involved as much or as little as you want. If there are any club related questions or issues, then again please get in touch and I will make sure it is given to the correct committee member. That's always a possibility mate. I'll run this over through the summer and see what happens. But a joint run out would certainly be on the cards

Mine was vertical

The R1 pump is an interupter type. It may make a noise until the pressure builds up then it should switch off. I had mine by the engine and never had a problem.. But some folks have. Andi

Warped discs maybe. Also Jack up the car so that the tyres are a couple of ml off the floor and rotate. I had this problem in the past and one of the tyres had a bulge in it

I once spent 3 nights with the wife in Compton LA. (not recommended). I didnt know it was a dodgy area and the hotel was cheap so i booked it. Certainly not a dream area over there. . But hey! the wife is gradually starting to talk to me after 10 years now .

Living the dream over there mate.. Great place, great roads, great weather, great number plates, great food... And topped off with a Zero too. Bliss
