    Mice in the Audi

A guy I knew a number or years ago found mice in his Sierra, he laid bait and caught a few, eventually he went to his insurance company, who paid for the car to go in a sealed chamber to gas all living things. The car was returned back, also with a new seat due to the mice eating it, a week later the mice returned. He sold the car.
  4. We are up for that. Its funny how you find all the secret places Andy, Fauld being one of them, clearly your search criteria is sketchy
  5. I purchased a 20v impact wrench last week fingers crossed it removes any problem nuts.
  6. Sorry, but due to the current Covid-19 situation unfortunately the area meeting must be cancelled. It is unlikely we will be able to hold a meeting for some time, but I will continue to monitor the situation and post each month with an update.
  7. This project is a good place to start, and there is always someone one the forum willing to help out.

    type 9 sierra

If its a late type 9 box there is a plate on the side of the gearbox extension housing, it has two bolts through elongated holes that can be loosened, and the plate can be moved forward and backward to give a better gear selection. I have just rebuilt Dean Rudkins gearbox and adjusting this plate make a big difference and will probably compensate for possible wear in your selectors.
  9. As the area meet is so close to EOSB and the new Covid rules, I have decided not to hold it this Months meeting and I will review it next month.
  10. Thanks for coming Jez, and your car nearly went on the autotest unexpectedly

    EOSB Run Out

Hopefully the weather will be kind for the EOSB, and on that assumption I have sorted a run out for the Saturday leaving the show ground at 11.00am. The route will take us from the show ground with the first stop at the fuel station to allow cars to take on fuel, then out to Wymondham, returning around Rutland Water. I have split the details into two, run out and run back, the destination is the tea rooms at Wymondham Mill ( you can go up the mill)where you can get drinks, snacks and hot food from a limited menu choice. Alternatively If anyone would rather stop at a Pub you can call into the Berkeley arms at Wymondham (01572 787587) and we can regroup for the run back. The run is approximately 1hr each way and a total of 70 miles. I have print a few maps, and below are links for google maps and also files for Tom Tom navigation thanks to Derek Google Maps Run Out Google Maps Run Back Tom Tom Run Out mapstogpx20200902_095528.gpx Tom Tom Run Back mapstogpx20200902_095623.gpx Fingers crossed the weather is kind and we are all good to go, Cheers Kerry & Sharon

    Spare Wheel Cradle

I cut the tube off on my 2B then made inserts so it could be fitted when towing the trailer tent, this would certainly be fine for carrying bikes.
