  1. Wow, that looks expensive! I will pass on these details, thank you.
  2. Thank you.
  3. Hi Committee (the in the know), Are you still looking for stalls/businesses to attend the EOSB? Can we help, I have a car cleaning/finishing company in my area who is very good? Is there a price or rules to attend? I use Bailey performance maybe he would come if approached. Mark
  4. Not the normal subject for the kit car forum, but here goes; Dear friends, I just signed the petition "Make adult adoption legal in the UK" and wanted to ask if you could add your name too. My step dad is fantastic and has always been there, look after me from age 4, cared for me, a mate and a dad but we have no legal tie to each other. This campaign means a lot to me and the more support we can get behind it, the better chance we have of succeeding. You can read more and sign the petition here: https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make-adult-adoption-legal-in-the-uk?share=4c116213-05d8-49f8-87c3-4ed83c532187 Can you also take a moment to share the petition with others? It's really easy – all you need to do is forward this email or click these links: Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Thank you! Mark (step son, foster carer and kit car enthusiast).
  5. OK let me know where and when.
  6. Thanks, not working on my phone I will try the laptop when I get home. Although it appears only Richy is using the calendar function, no dates for Stoneleigh or Santa Pod captured yet.
  7. Hi, Is there any chance with our forum software we could create a link to add events to our personal calendars? Facebook allows this function and it works very well, more importantly reminds me of events before starting a job/DIY.
  8. I cannot help, but wanted to say hi and welcome to our club. The car looks amazing.
  9. Hi David M, I live in Telford with a Zero kit, give me shout if you need anything.

Hi Thomas, Good looking car, what engine is fitted?
  11. Thanks to Jackie and Richy for an enjoyable drive and lunch. The weather was OK once off the mountain, I was even thinking of taking the roof off. Only one minor slide on the way up the mountain, heavy right foot! Thank you.
  12. I can meet you at Ternhill crossroad A41 and A53 in petrol station
  13. OK I will head to the A41, see you soon.
  14. OK which route are you taking and I will meet you.
  15. OK let me know.
  16. What time are you going to be driving pass Telford? Technically working from home but....
  17. Hi Burney, It could be a number of things but before saying the most expensive solution. Try this first loosen gear box mount and wiggle it around then tighten, I have heard this sometimes resolves the issue. Failing that take the gear lever out and check the the saddle (black or white plastic) at the end of the lever is not worn, straight edges etc. If the gear lever is loose most of the time this could be an issue. I have also heard old oil/low oil can cause this problem. Also quick thought has the lever been adjusted to quick shift, if not the right length it will pop out. With some careful clutch control and a downhill slope you can manually select 5th with the lever off with a big screwdriver and drive off, if it still pops out after this I would suggest the box needs some new internal parts.
  18. Defo for 'the hill' unless it clashes with another club event, maybe hoodstock around that time.
  19. Sorry Ritchie, working in Cardiff over the weekend.
  20. Hi Danielle, Will we have a club pitch or all thrown together in the reserved parking area? Thanks Mark
  21. Good move I could do with clearing my garage. Tempted to get the red steering wheel and donate to EOSB bingo! Yes I am looking forward to the EOSB and the bingo, how many days to go? Edited because I have fat thumbs.
  22. Bypass valve for race track is a winner!
  23. The best I have seen was some leatherette wrapped around some pvc half tube and glued on with silkaflex.
  24. You could wrap the scuttle so no holes are visible.
  25. I agree with Nelmo don't fit windscreen for IVA.
