The Pinto one will not fit. I am not sure if you need one for the 2B, but on the Zero, I used a Raceline shallow sump. There are others, and I am sure it is possible to modify the existing sump.

Sorry Steve, didn't get there. Had an early start and went for a drive with a mate and had breakfast in Bourton on the Water. Set off from there to come over but there were major hold ups around Alcester so bailed out and headed back home.

This is only about an hour away from me but this weekend looks pants weather wise! Next weekend, 29th and 30th, is the 50th Anniversary Gala so I might look at one of those days if the weather stays OK.

Nice one Mr Toad!. Softbits for Sevens may do tonneau covers and half doors. Full doors would probably Westfield themselves unless anyone on the Westfield forum was selling wet weather gear.

The paintwork on mine is showing signs of wear so it would be nice to get that re-done, but it all depends the cost. If I can get it done, I would then like to add a clear wrap to the most vulnerable places, just to protect the paint a bit better. The headlights are a bit of a weak point so I might look at upgrading them.

It is the second weekend of August so Friday 9th August to Sunday 11th. Well, that is what I have reserved so I hope I won't be on my own Richy beat me to it!!

It's a no brainer really. Made the reservation through Booking.com and can be cancelled up to 1 week before so nothing to lose!

Followed the trend and have just reserved The Nanhoron for next year!

I can only echo what has already been said. Richy and Jackie, you are absolute stars, thank you so much for the effort you both clearly put in to make this an amazing weekend for us all. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, rain and all. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome. I'll have a look at my photos later and see what I managed to take once I took the lens cap off!!

Hi Steve I was going to come up the M5 and turn off at Worcester and then through Kidderminster. It would not be much different to come up to Bromsgrove and meet up and then travel up together from there. How about meeting at The Holiday Inn on the A448 at just after 9.30am? I have a smaller plate on the front of mine and never had an issue. It also went through its last MOT with it. Perhaps the MOT tester has some leeway on the front plate? Size wise I think it is about 12 inch by about 2.5/3 inch

Never had chance to join in on this trip before, but this year it is a bit quieter on the gig front, so I have reserved a room at the Nanhoron Arms.

Long Marston is the drag strip only, and is currently closed. I doubt it will open again this year. It will all end up as a housing estate!!

This is a nice show at Ragley Hall near Alcester and might appeal to anyone in the Midlands area. https://www.classicmotorshows.co.uk/ragley-hall It is over 2 days on the Sunday and Monday and is a cross section of old, new, kit, modified etc. Complete Kit Car organise the kit car presence on the Monday. It is £10 to get in but if you email Adam Wilkins at CKC, he can pass your details on to Grosvenor Events (the organisers) who will give you a ticket for free. ( I think it is adam@performancepublishing.co.uk ) I have been for the last couple of years and will be going again this year, possibly with a couple of mates from the WSCC (all weather dependant of course!).
