As mentioned earlier we will be leaving the farm at 1pm so please get there early with time to spare and to set up camp. Ill be there about 9 ish.

When i was last near the farm on Sunday just gone, they had closed the road but the farm was accessible from the Queniborough end of the road, but if you came from the Lowesby end you were re routed through South Croxton, Beeby, Barkby and Queniborough. At present I do not know if they will finish before Saturday or even if the road closure will move along to the other end of the road, but detours were pretty well sign posted.

During the Saturday run there are likely to be 2 major convoy losing sites. One is Melton Mowbray . If we lose anyone we will all meet up just on the Saxby Road (B676) on the left had turn into an Industrial Estate (CE Turners Engineers) LE13 1BS.

The other place would be in Uppingham. If we lose anyone there we will meet at the junction of Stockerston Crescent / Stockerstone Rd Uppingham.

Its at that point when the route gets lots of fun.

From there we will be going to the Bell Inn East Langton LE16 7TW for lunch

Burgers will be provided in the evening, but if anyone wants to throw their own stuff on the BBQ, please feel free

The portaloo is booked for delivery to the farm so no need for spades.

See you there,

Edit to say, if anyone wants to have the route in tomtom or garmin format, message me with your email address.
