I have had this mug for about 6 years and it has developed a stress fracture of the handle.

I have applied glue and pressure but am worried I may have a catastrophic failure mid tea, this would be at best a carastophy and at worst fatal.

Please check your mugs and take the necessary remedial action.

You sound like the bloke i had on the phone tonight trying sell me a new inverter at an extortionate price for my solar panels because i haven`t got a 25 year warranty on it, i`m 71 years old who cares if it breaks i`ll buy a new one. But that is not as important as a rhocar cup i think you should have a meeting with your bank manager and consider investment into a replacement.

Im still gutted I could not get a yellow car on my mug?

Can we get more mugs? Happy to do the leg work, we have them in work for certain events.

UPDATE.....

The gaffer tape I used to secure the handle while the glue set has taken part of the logo off.

Oh when will this torture end

3 wraps of duct tape....

Have instructed my solicitors Sue, Grabbit & Run to start litigation regarding the above (dodgy) advice

By now you should know better than to trust ANY advice I offer..

But in any case, I have now studied your timeline and clearly you

applied the said gaffer tape BEFORE I suggested it.

Litigation for defamation of character is now underway.

As a serious aside I am now able to divulge details of the High Court case where

I was a member of the jury. Its not an experience I am keen to repeat.

BTW I use masking tape frequently to hold wood in place while glue sets.

Used sticky side inwards, it pulls up the grain of the balsa.

I use it sticky side outwards, tensioned, and overlap it to stick in place.

Gaffer tape is even more likely to grab something, try it inside out on your next broken mug

There are going to be more ?!?

I need therapy which I assume I will not be able to afford after the failed litigation and counter claim.

I need a mug of tea

I have the last three mugs from the batch ordered in 2008 sat in packaging on a shelf in the garage, one with a yellow car and two with green.

I'll send them out for £5.00 each and then forward the money to the club.

Send me a message with your preferred colour and for my paypal address. Send the money as a friends and family payment and put mug in there somewhere.

The mugs are as in the first post in the link below.
