As the title suggests could people put a picture up of how and what they have used to cover the steering arms inc track rod ends for the satisfaction of Iva. I have a wishbone 2b thanks mike.

So on the ford box which I have from research the black/blue wire is +12v Brown 0v Yellow/brown is output so connected to your speedo. Im connecting mine to a smiths prism speedo should be on the to do list this next week or 2. Hopefully the colours may be the same for you, probably wont be but worth a try. Mike.

I use to run OAT with samco hoses on an old car with no problems. If you are concerned you could always look into waterless coolant as thats different again.

I think the lower edge is the least of my worries if you hit me Id be more concerned about been kneecapped lol due to the height of the car in general.

Id be very happy with that fail sheet, like you say all minor things so well done. For the retest do they only check the things it failed on or the entire car again?

Lol on the note of the 27mm spanner the Freelander is the same but with a flexi head ratchet spanner its a dream to do as the Freelander is also the same. I just purchased a cheap Chinese one of the bay as its onku used for the oil filter housing once a year. Maybe not the news you want now but at least you know for next time.

Our las has a 09 plate 10 hour job to change the egr valve on the back of the engine and thats using a post ramp so much from top of engine bay and some under. Absolutely ridiculous

As above guys does anyone have any front indicator extensions that fell off lol after their Iva? Just be one less thing I have to make.

From memory it's a round port. Anyhow I've had my trim off and my port is still loose so if you need pics of the wires let me know. Mines a 09 E91

Depending on the model and year of the BMW some also have iirc an icom port under the bonnet tht can access the same and a lot more.

Evening all, I'm looking at getting some new seats for my 2b looking for something like the roadster seats don't want to spend loads though as the bills are adding up as it is to get the build finished and Iva'd ready for my wedding Photos and prices of what people have would be great and preferably black. Thanks mike.

Evening all. Unfortunately on my kit my bonnet must have an older protective layer and is white with the blue stripes but when peeling off has left a horrible glue residue all my other panels have a black backing on the underside of the white protective cover and comes off perfectly. Pics below. Thanks in advance mike.

Where did you get them ones from? As a lot I've seen don't have enough material to cut off without loosing the mounting points or the back side of the reflecter dish. For the 2b it's roughly 30mm difference from top and bottom to get the lamp face level.

What lights and mounting pods have people used on the rear of a 2b to acquire the required 90degree to the road mounting position. Or can you just use the basic bolt up ones on a hinge and mount it under the rear panel as this is still more than the required 250mm for iva ? Thanks mike.

My Sierra column is adjustable in length weather that falls under collapsible or not I'm not sure.

Yeah I'm aware of the horn part. I'll keep at it just the seats I currently have a really think at the bottom so doesn't leave much room.
