  1. 4 kits and around 20 people there, not bad for a damp evening in October.
  2. It's a 1.6 (for now)
  3. 67 bhp should get you to Kiddy and back and that's all that matters. Roll on your re-retest
  4. Next Wednesday, 28th October, 7pm onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL https://maps.google....ingdom&t=m&z=15 Entrance to pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island. See you there.

    Glass Fibre Seats

I don't have a problem with this because they're not for me. I'll explain the situation to my man.

    Glass Fibre Seats

I'll take them - pm sent.
  7. Can see Syria on there - which is a shame.
  8. It's at the sprint circuit, not in the village: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Curborough+Sprint+Course,+Netherstowe+Ln,+Lichfield,+Staffordshire+WS13+8EJ,+United+Kingdom/@52.7065676,-1.8018149,16z/data=!4m6!1m3!3m2!1s0x487a086b7ec8b8b3:0xf7eb750e711ddf66!2sCurborough,+Lichfield,+Staffordshire+WS13!3m1!1s0x487a08728f641379:0x403faad9bef0fffb?hl=en Access is off Wood End Lane to the North of the circuit.
  9. Good publicity for the club, but you've got to ask why the best supported club at Stoneleigh, only made page 15? I'd have thought the front cover was more appropriate.
  10. Can you add me and Jackie please.
  11. www.nw.rhocar.org/poloheater.htm
  12. The MGF/TF heater is still quite big but you'd probably still get it to fit. Unless you've got one spare, you'd probably be better off fitting something more proven like a VW Polo one or a classic Mini one. I used a Mini one and it was an easy fit
  13. Next Wednesday, 30th September, 7pm onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL https://maps.google....ingdom&t=m&z=15 Entrance to pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island. I won't be there because I'm on holiday so I'll see everyone in October.
  14. They stop for a bit, but then they'll decide you're obviously lying and start pestering you again.
  15. Don't forget to include your schedule of charges for processing any further correspondence from them (opening letters and then binning them). I think £20 per letter is reasonable. Tell them that if they write back to you, you'll take that as an indication that they agree to the charges and want you to process their letters and that you'll invoice them accordingly.
  16. With a rotary it's important to run the exhaust down the passenger side of the car. That way you can keep your legs warm while you're stood waiting for the AA.
  17. Good stuff Stu. Now this thread is getting a bit long, I think it's time you wrapped it up with an IVA pass.
  18. I'm after a Coolman Radiator, thought I'd ask here before looking elsewhere. It's probably going to be too expensive to post out but I am at the National next weekend so could collect from there. Thanks

    Log Book!

Bit of a sweeping statement there - I can't see a good reason why any car should be dismissed for having a standard Pinto in it. While it might not be the quickest thing around, it'll probably be reliable and will be easy to work on if it does go wrong.

  21. Yes, should have a 21/4W stop tail bulb and a 5W tail bulb. Not 100% certain but I think the 5W jobbie might also do the parking lamps (set off the indicator switch with the ignition off).
  22. Andi's first go at swinging hadn't given the results he'd hoped for.
  23. Been all through this with tv licensing. In legal terms, they're virtually powerless, hence the bully boy tactics. For extra amusement, write to them and tell them that you're removing their right of implied access, this will mean if they make any visits to your property, they will be committing trespass and if they don't leave when asked, could be taken to court themselves. The won't serve any kind of summons, no court would issue one without evidence. The majority of their prosecutions are as a result of doorstep confessions when people get a visit.
  24. Yes, but you made the effort and you're always welcome at our meetings.
