Hi all, This will be the local event for Staffordshire in September. Last month had a great attendence and hope to see you all again. Starting at around 19.30pm (you can book a table for food earlier if you like). Yes it can be a nightmare. Some people never have an issue with the silicone. I had plenty. I made a simple cage to bolt the carbs onto the silicone which did work but was a pita every time I needed to take them off. Then I got some original second hand bike rubbers with the clips and they never came off. Also you can try slimmer jubilee bands on your silicone. That works but they're not too common Andi

I reckon you're over fueling with your standard car pump. Get any cheap second hand bike pump. Or an adjustable facet type one. No more than 3psi for bike carbs. Bike pump is the best way to go if you ask me Andi
