Now you've cursed it 3 inches of snow!
  2. Starting to think about this year's winter project. Is getting your cylinder head flowed properly and possibly fitting a better head gasket a worthwhile task? Will you get more power, is the cost worth it, is the ST170 already done?

Whoop hooray a good show to attend.
  4. To a club member? If not please let them know we are here to help during the build.
  5. Try bench testing your starter.
  6. Welcome to the club Grant. I don't recognise the car but someone might.
  7. Looks good should be faster with the sheen
  8. I received a marketing email from kits spares today, so I visited the site. But for the first time ever there was nothing I needed. Even the throttle bodies which look nice and would improve my car didn't flick my switch. What does this mean?
  9. Mine park on drivers side. I was told by GBS they are centralised so the same panel fits for left hand drive cars.

With most kits you cannot get the wheels down without more weight, slicks and probably some form of launch control ECU. Even with nitrous I am not expecting anything near to 4 seconds.

What ignition system do you have, this would happen with a wasted spark system if not connected correctly.
  12. Try these https://www.burtonpower.com/90-degree-speedo-drive-adaptor-gbt9560.html Expensive but will be a good job done once.
  13. Make: GBS Model: Zero Engine: Ford ST170 Gearbox: MT75 What you like the most: Seats and stainless panels What you want to change: Boot cover to match seats and brakes
  14. Missing all the car events with C19 lockdown. Let's have a virtual meet on the forum for others to watch. Please post a picture of your car with; Make: Model: Engine: Gearbox: What you like the most: What you want to change:
  15. This is looking like the best option so far, you can design the floor you want. http://www.plasfloor.co.uk/tile-calculator
  16. Found this on eBay, should fit and should move the air inlet and filter into the cold air. Job for tomorrow.

You are more than welcome in the club, we accept all makes of kit cars and have many makes of kit cars.
  18. Looks good and lots of different colours.
  19. Going to tidy up the garage soon but the floor is a mess, little bits breaking up, oil stains and many shades of concrete. What's the best option to cover the floor to make it easy to clean, I can park the car on or use axle stands when needed? Ideally done once and forget solution.
  20. This is mine, currently on axle stands.
  21. Firstly, not that type you dirty minded person! This is a family friendly forum. We do not see each other cars at car shows, so lets keep the forum going and share a picture of the front view of your kit car. All going well it will help to generate ideas for newbies. Thank you
  22. Getting some garage time but finding out that I need more spares at every turn. Time to decorate the garage.
  23. Needs to move about 60mm. Has any used Durafix welding rods, thinking I might be able to make an aluminium box.
  24. Hi Andrew, Welcome, I have a Zero but someone will be along soon.
