Just a stupid note for all with reference to the comment re " Cramping Up ". I assume it is in " Jest " but for the record if anyone starts suffering from " Cramp " sadly drink Tonic Water the quinine stops the Cramp. After explaining to my GP ( he was the one who suggested drinking Tonic Water ) that I was drinking 1 - 2 Litres of Tonic per day he opted to put me on Quinine tablets around 30 mg but they do assist and keep the Cramps at bay. Drivel over hope everyone made use of the Sunshine today. Cheers. Steve

Hi Alan, always a pleasure to read you notes ! My Superspec has a Ford Sierra DOHC Sapphire engine fitted which has its original Webber carburettor fitted. I also have a similar unit in the garage that is the Fuel injected DOHC that we are considering rebuilding or taking to pieces to see what condition the internals are in. Will keep you posted but "Don't hold your breath" we do not move that quickly, had considered a New Zetec but understand it will be fairly costly. Being a Pensioner one has to WATCH THE PENNIES, yes we know it is very SAD. Kindest regards Steve

Hi everyone one of my friends ( yes I do have one maybe even more who knows ? ) He is looking at buying a Mazda MX5 and would like to know if anyone can assist with information please. He says there is the 1.6 and 1.8 any advice on which is preferable please ? Also which years are good if there is any particular points to note ? Really GREAT WEEKEND did not Stay perhaps we will one day ! Sorry do not know how to post a topic or if I am allowed to ? Just noticed in Coventry Times Paper that on Saturday 2nd May there is an open day at Coventry Airport ! Look at www.classicairforce.com Airbase gets Airborne " Coventry's First Air Display in more than a Decade ". Various Classic Aircraft some even taking to the Sky. Might be worth a look for those who like Aircraft as well as Cars. Cheers Steve
