  9. How do you know if you are getting fuel are the plugs wet, if you remove plugs after it wont start are they wet, if so dry them out and turn over with them out and let the cylinders dry out. if still no joy try new plugs. Is the crank position sensor Ok as it it in a vulnerable Position next to oil filter. In cleaning the idle sensor do you mean the valve. have you unplugged disturbed any think else near by. my main engine to loom connectors two round shaped ones near inlet manifold were not the best fit due to age you can check continuity back to sensor plugs from hear and then back the other way to the ECU pins so loads to look at still Stephen

  20. It can happen to Lewis Hamilton 13:19: BBC F1 pit-lane Tom Clarkson reports that Lewis Hamilton's car won't start and they have taken the floor off to take a closer look at the engine. Hamilton, who has not had a smooth weekend since the Spanish Grand Prix in May, has his arms folded and is stood examining the data screens. 3:31: Mercedes have created a wall of mechanics to shield Lewis Hamilton's car from prying eyes as they carry out work - presumably on something they don't want the world to see. 13:46: Jennie Gow reports that Mercedes co-team boss Toto Wolff says it'll be around 30 minutes before Lewis Hamilton will be back out on track. That will only give him 15 minutes on track during this 90-minute session. 13:58: Mercedes say they have changed some sensors after an electrical problem prevented the team from starting Lewis Hamilton's car. 13:56: Lewis Hamilton has just climbed into the cockpit of his car. It seems it was an electrical issue but speedy work from his Mercedes crew mean he'll get about half an hour of running time.
