What a good weekend Thanks Bob for sorting tickets and the company. The drive over to the cotswolds was a bit damp in the morning, ariving at Mum and Dads with lesley resting lunch on her lap a cottage pie. I pulled in to ther drive with ther shed on the back without thinking about the new gates they have had fitted and a new mettel gate stop Bang and the hood hit it, did not think to much about it cooked lunch then left about 3 100 yards down road and had to stop clatter clatter had a look underneath and the hand brake cable was hanging down, round to the local garage over there pit 3 cable ties handed over yes that will stop it draging thanks on our way, Lesley wanted to just go home as it was raning lots, it was still clattering so stoped ar garage in next village un hook shed again uo on a ramp 3 new cable ties fited before bolts so could not slide £10 handed over. on way so a 30 min drive took 90 mins. Damage now assesed re welded the hand brake extention new cable orderd. should be sorted by thursday. some pics for Bob are up loading to photo bucket only 248 now http://s119.photobuc...ry/Prescot 2014

  5. Well done Peter on the first time pass. Re the fuel are the fuel lines all marked as fuel hose injection is best and will still not last foe ever as all rubber will age, also as Chris check if any silicone used and remove it. Sounds like a hose braking down. Replace with new and should be fixed. Result Stephen
  6. You need to mod the top of the pedal to take an eye end I use aQCC1148 from a capri 1103 mmlong. http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-category/transmission-clutch-wheels/clutch-cables/clutch-cable-capri-mk1-mk2-mk3-1-6-2-0-qcc1148.html Otherwise you will cut cable with a bolt and just drilling pedal See this http://www.rhocar.or...attach_id=15932 Stephen
  7. Dont use a bolt as it will cut through cable you need a cable with an eye on end and mod peddle end to take a pin the eye can spin on http://www.rhocar.org/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=15932 See above Stephen

  17. Its just an on off switch so only needs splicing in to fuel pump feed / earth. Check which terminal brake continuity when you give it a good bash and resets when resets. stephen
  18. The other 2 wires could be the low level warning light touch together with a length of wire should switch light on. If working with sender out take great care as fumes and sparkes make big BANGS. Seal the hole and work in well vented area. Stephen
