Last i got from Stu is he still needs to do the bracing and another little job. Not a lot but his work is keeping him busy recently i think

Unfortunately not as big an update as I had hoped to post today as manflu has struck me down. I replaced the rear wheel bearings yesterday which was a surprisingly easy job, with the exception of the near side on which was completely ruined. I'll let the pictures explain...

 

 

 

 

And the reason I posted about needing a driveshaft?

 

 

Other than that I replaced battery, changed the silencer and it is quite a bit quieter, hopefully enough to pass IVA. Just need to finish putting the hubs back on and add in the bracing for the lower harness mounts.

Another couple of weekends work and it will be ready for re-test, that is, as long as that bearing was causing the problem!

Have just secured a new prop. Think I will get the retest out the way and then get it swapped over.

Would be good to get a good day out before it gets too cold.
