Stick a boxster engine in it??

Now that'll be interesting. Feel sorry for poor Rich, with the changes. He'll be making engine mounts for ever

Its been a while so here is a brief update of where I am at.

Ive been focusing efforts on the rear hubs. Using MG TF bearings, drive flange, and outer CV joint, Ive machined the hub-carriers and along with some other bits to make it all work;

First I machined about 8mm off the front face of the carrier

And then I border out the carrier;

The next bits to make were the front retaining flange (this will all make sense as the bits come together) and hub sleeve;

Then drill the countersunk holes for the front retaining flange;

Then the sleeve is press fitted into the hub carrier and the MG TF bearing is press fitted into the sleeve;

Drilled a hole in the drive flange so that the countersunk set screws can be removed after its all assembled (for future if the bearing has to be replaced);

Thats the rear hub carrier now assembled with the sleeve, bearing and retaining flange fitted;

Next was a spacer to go between the drive flange and disc;

Next update will be fitment of the drive shafts very soon

A few photos to update as its been a while;

Back end assembled with customs drive shafts fitted. Next job is to fit some springs, some wheels, brake callipers (with custom carriers) and then look at the arb.

Front end assembled, but the suspension is a bit wooden so going to have to change the dampers;

Heres a bit of an overall view. You can see the gear selector fitted (and working) and just for the hell of it I bolted some old wheels on the front;
