Overheating Probs Sorted

now i have sorted my overheating probs i have been out on a proper tuning session now getting some awsome power trouble is theres to much and the clutch cant handle ah well more expense and more spanner time

Do you have a type 9

I had to put 4paddle cerametalic clutch in mine from helix

well if the engines coming out then the v6 type9 is going in

I put a heavier duty helix clutch and lightened flywheel in when I changed my engine. I didnt notice any difference to the pedal weight. Flywheel makes a difference though. My wallet noticed the difference though.

Type 9 is pretty much on the limit with 200 horses. Might be time to look for a stronger box.

My type 9 is absolutely fine with 250ftlb and 243hp, if it ever fails then I may look at something stronger but choices very limited without spending ££££

and even when you do spend big money, there are very few that offer any guarantee above 200lbft. In fact the highest advertised that I know of is BGH geartech and their highest rated is 250lbft then it is a massive jump to quaifes sequential range or similar!

Drive break replace! Repeat until you run out of type 9s

when i run out of type 9s i can move on to my MT75

I've broke one type 9 and that wasnt really broke. just high milage wear on the lay shaft needles. In cars that weigh naff all they safe enough with what we are doing.
