  1. What time are you going to be driving pass Telford? Technically working from home but....
  2. Hi Burney, It could be a number of things but before saying the most expensive solution. Try this first loosen gear box mount and wiggle it around then tighten, I have heard this sometimes resolves the issue. Failing that take the gear lever out and check the the saddle (black or white plastic) at the end of the lever is not worn, straight edges etc. If the gear lever is loose most of the time this could be an issue. I have also heard old oil/low oil can cause this problem. Also quick thought has the lever been adjusted to quick shift, if not the right length it will pop out. With some careful clutch control and a downhill slope you can manually select 5th with the lever off with a big screwdriver and drive off, if it still pops out after this I would suggest the box needs some new internal parts.
  3. Defo for 'the hill' unless it clashes with another club event, maybe hoodstock around that time.
  4. Sorry Ritchie, working in Cardiff over the weekend.
  5. Hi Danielle, Will we have a club pitch or all thrown together in the reserved parking area? Thanks Mark
  6. Good move I could do with clearing my garage. Tempted to get the red steering wheel and donate to EOSB bingo! Yes I am looking forward to the EOSB and the bingo, how many days to go? Edited because I have fat thumbs.
  7. Bypass valve for race track is a winner!
  8. The best I have seen was some leatherette wrapped around some pvc half tube and glued on with silkaflex.
  9. You could wrap the scuttle so no holes are visible.

    Karting

Great idea, but I am working in Dublin that week.
  12. There's lots of good stuff on this site. When I done the conversion I used parts from RetroFord like the idler puller and alternator brackets. You will have to get a very small alternator most people use a denso used on Nissan/Diahatsu cars. Other suppliers include Burton, if you have spare time you make all the brackets out of steel plate.
  13. Hi David H, There's a few of us in Telford area, feel free toake contact. What car do you have? Mark
  14. Wow, serious flames from the exhaust.

  17. Thanks I was heading down this route https://www.vibra-technics.co.uk/kit_car/ford_mt75_gearbox_sierra_2wd
  18. Hi Alan, Which gearbox mount are you using, I always think I mine is too soft.
  19. Some answer would be yes, but, there's always a but. With no paperwork of the donor vehicle you will probably be looking for a Q plate registration unless you have the kit original receipt and buy everything new and go for a new plate. Not advisable going down the second route.
  20. Hi Andi, Sorry I cannot make this one, new job (week 2) and working in Dublin for 3 days. I will pass onto Staffs guys.
