    Garage Floor Paint

Wouldn't bother with floor paint as if you get in wet with water/ anti-freeze it turns into a skating rink, as Bob said go with the floor tiles

  11. If you are repairing the wing as well as etch priming it first you will also need to give the repair a good couple of coats of high build primer, and then wet flat with 800 wet n dry before even thinking about putting on the top coat or the repair will stick out like a sore thumb

    Cortina Diff / Axle

Rear axle for the Cortina 3/4/5 is a Salisbury 1600 type A, 2000 type B Bit like looking for a needle in a hay stack these days but in saying that I have seen a couple pop up on ebay over the last 6 months or so

    Goodwood Fos

Myself and Becks only live only an hours drive from Goodwood, took us over an hour too do the last mile or so to get into the car parks last year. Only thing with using a bike to get in/out will be the narrow lanes as you do get the muppets who think they are above everyone else and try to jump the queue and think they are on a race track at the same time
  16. Hi Alan Having spent loads of time playing around with the new logo for membership cards and screen stickers I think the one you have come up with looks fantastic All I have is the template for the screen sticker by your welcome to have a play about with it Chris

  18. I would go with the bottom one of the 2 as you will get a better spray pattern. Im still working Ian so know need to worry just that im working for myself now and not doing the spray thing anymore
  19. Its gravity fed Spay guns for me every time but I do have suction guns (pot underneath)for large flat areas as they take up to a litre of paint at a time. With a gravity fed gun its easier to paint panels like roofs, bonnets etc.. as your not dragging the paint pot across the job, and low down jobs like sills and wheel arches all you have to think about is keeping the air line out of the way. Plus with a gravity fed you can turn the air pressure right down and still have a good flow of paint from the gun if doing things like smart repairs. That's retired pro please Ian
  20. Think I'm with you Ian, mine will go up for sale too But would have to get it past SWMBO first, so the answer will be No now she can drive it !!!
