Welcome to RHOCaR - The UK Kit Car Club
The aim of the club is to help and support members during the build (and inevitable on going maintenance and modifcation) as well as to plan and organize a wide range of social and sporting events, from local area events to our national End of Year Bash! We have one of, if not the largest club stand at the National Kit Car Show at Stoneleigh each year, and we definitely serve the best burgers! We also have stands at many other shows throughout the year all around the country. It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members arrange regular run outs and even longer trips including the ever popular Wales and Scotland trips. The Club produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members. It is packed with news, events, articles, technical features and irreverent cartoons. The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register, we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as its all about the state of mind, not the car you drive!
Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often get a discount that is more than the membership fee itself. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a wide variety of other discounts, including discounts at Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for anyone they see is in need of help, as long as they too are a member!
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield or a Caterham, all can benefit form joining, so what are you waiting for?

No North East Area Meeting This Month
By alantoon,As the title says we are not holding a meeting this month originally because the venue would have been too busy because of Christmas, but the increase in COVID has overtaken that.
So stay safe everyone and try to have a good Xmas, and watch this space to see what is happening with the meetings in the New Year, hopefully things will improve.

By Stephen Percival,Good morning all
Just to update you on our proposed run out on the 4th December to Southport and onwards. The meeting point will be the Car Park off the A49 Preston Road opp Collingwood St Standish nr Wigan. Subject to extreme weather, I would like to start our run at 11 am. We run down to Southport for some chips or what ever floats your food boat. After a show run through the main drag, if you are up for it we will head to Formby and see the cast iron men in the Sea. If anyone wants to enhance the day chip in. It is your club, your voice.
See you all soon. Steve P.
Staffordshire no meet
By Andi,I have decided that with the waning numbers of attendees during the winter months, with much due to the distance some have to travel. That we should hibernate as in some previous years, until Spring.
Should anyone ever want to meet up on the last Thursday of the month, then give me a shout and I will be there. and should anyone want to meet at a weekend for a quick spin, then again, give me a shout and I`ll try my best to make it. But the car is taxed throughout the year so it would be rude not to use it.
