Ok I have revived some more prices from Silverstone at a £28,500 + vat and Rockingham at £7500 + vat which I think we can all agree is abit out of our price range this year.

mallory, think they are still having problems with locals so are limited on number of days use. as such will set a price to discourage some

Funnily enough the prices don't differ by much for week day to weekend but must weekends are already booked for the year. I can get the club 5% for 5 cars and 10% for 10 cars off pre organised track days at Rockingham that's always an option

Just as an idea of a few other venues, you have long marston, near Stratford upon Avon or Throckmorton near Evesham. Both are airfields so might be more in budget?

That applies to the drag racing there, I dont know

if there is a circuit on the same site.

nearly every track is an disused airfield that includes silverstone and donnington. Quite interesting the number of airfields in ww1 and 2.

Long Marston is the drag strip only, and is currently closed. I doubt it will open again this year. It will all end up as a housing estate!!

Maybe the way forward would be getting club discounts on pre-organised track days and getting a group of people to go? I'd rather pay a bit extra and go to a track than race around cones on an airfield tbh
