  1. Show is Sunday and Monday, Saturday is set up day. Nick
  2. Booked into the hotel this year with my Missus, don't know time of arrival yet, but willing to lend a hand pitching event shelters and gazebos. Nick
  3. Had rear bumper modified at work on mine, white stripes on a black car, not good. At least you know who was involved, nobody owned up to mine. Trouble is we all have white vans, including contractors. Nick.
  4. Looks like the colour of my wings, try to find Eclipse Blue 08. Pretty good match. Nick
  5. Deffo good work and quality of products. I'd recommend for any flooring work. We'll be probably needing your services again next year. Nick
  6. I sprayed the nosecone, 1 rear wing and both headlight bowls. They don't look bad at a distance, but preparation and effort are definitely required. Nick

    Build Video.

Somebody loaded the videos on YouTube, try a search. Nick
  8. I know most people give poor reviews of roof and doors, but I find getting in and out only a little awkward, minimal misting (no heater) and a reasonable view. I have plenty of head room (6ft 4"), leg room and can wear any shoes to drive. I generally only use my home made surrey these days, as the roof and doors seem to stop the warm air from the engine coming into the cabin, so it's a lot colder. Nick
  9. Might get out to this, not sure on vehicle! All are taxed, tested and insured. Apart from a blown bulb in 1 (weekend fix) all are working at the moment, but anything can happen in 4 weeks. Nick
  10. Found it, can send pics if needed. Nick
  11. Ok, will look tomorrow. :-)
  12. I think I've got 1, will have to check in garage. Bought it 2nd hand a few years ago. Not sure on price, maybe £40. Nick.
  13. Just as a side note, I used an aluminium drinks bottle with a washer motor fitted to the bottom, been ok for over 10 years and passed every MOT. Nick
  14. For next year, can the person who booked the glorious weekend weather this year, include Friday when booking. Also, I believe it's the kids that get the most fun out of the weekend, but I still think this event should continue. I enjoy meeting friends, old and new, and there's nothing finer than a fried breakfast in a field. A published itinerary may help with things, even if it's just a white board with suggested times, that can be changed if and when required. Thanks to all involved, and to all who attended. It was a great weekend, it's just a shame there isn't more of them. Nick
  15. Looks like i'll be on my own... Borrowed a trailer tent so Sue could stay over (she won't do tenting again), then some insect went and had a munch on her leg, so it's now a waiting game. If infection sets in she'll need to be admitted to hospital due to being allergic to most antibiotics, so doesn't want to be away from home. We've arranged for someone to stay over with her so I can come. So, see you all over the weekend. Nick
  16. I wear size 11's and can drive mine in any shoes, even my hiking boots. I guess it's all to do with who built it. Nick
  17. When I set off from home the weather was fine, 1 mile from home it started spitting and didn't stop. Put surrey on when I got there, but the drive home was horrible, lorries, spray and darkness don't mix very well in a 2b. Good night out all the same. Nick
  18. Just a thought... have you tried covering part of the rad to see if that helps? If so then the rad could be too good. Nick
  19. Hi, I've got a 2B and fit in it with room to spare (6ft 3), mind you, I did build it for me. I drove a couple of 2B's before finishing mine, one I really struggled with leg/knee room, the other was fine. All depends who built it. I've seen a 2B on ebay recently that used to belong to a friend who is tall, so may be a good fit. Look for an orange 1 with stripes on the nosecone. HTH Nick

    Seats

I've got Cobra Roadster 7's in my 2b that fit with plenty of room. I got mine cheap a number of years ago, but I'm told they often come up for sale when people swap to fibreglass seats. HTH Nick
  21. We should be there, might even be in the Kit too. Fraser, you just turn up, pick a table, choose your food, then queue at the bar. Anything from 2mins to over half an hour later, you sit back down and wait for your food. HTH Nick
