Suspension build started today, I can see the end in sight now. Getting pretty excited New shocks painted red and installed. I made a new top arm link which I will post up later The front hubs have had the ring welded on machined down and balanced on the lathe. Had the DTI on and it runs pretty true. Bearings pressed in tonight.The hubs have been drilled to 108 x 4 pcd and will accept the sierra vented disc. Just need to sort out the caliper mounting. I have sent a drawing off for laser cutting and I will mock up with spacers and send to our resident machinist (steamer) to make me a shiny aluminium one. The rear axle has also been assembled. Bit of a play on the diff thrust washers. I have ordered a new diff to rebuild. I will put this diff in and build up an LSD later.

Car is going for paint int 5 weeks, So I am trying to get my gaps sorted on the car. The doors have quite a bit of gap in the them So I decided to weld in 4mm rods to reduce the gaps

Well, as a relatively young lad (29). I started my career at Corus ( British Steel). The size of everything was just crazy. I left last year and everything seems so small and not dangerous to me now in my new job. My favourite were shunting loco's on site. The steam train still runs tours round site in summer.
