Thanks for the offer, but we are thinking of buying a motorhome and have hired one for the weekend just to see how we get on with one.

If you see something from Top Gear passing your way on Saturday morningish, that'll probably be us!

Can I just clarify this then..

 

If I come along in the kit car, I just turn up and try and find a space at the RH stand? (not camping that is.

Or do I need to book a space etc...?

 

Only ever come along in the tin top before.

Camping tickets all booked, Liz and I will be there from Saturday in our motorhome,

unfortunately not bringing the hood, not IVA'd yet but we will be in the hood next year.

Looking forward to finally meeting up with some of the names.

Guidance required please.

Planning to visit Stoneleigh in kit - my first outing to Stoneleigh.

Probably just me in the car, so free entry?

Am under the impression that I pay £5 at the gate to camp overnight ... do I need to book anything in advance?

Don't forget a chair. Very few people bring more than 1 so borrowing is rarely an option.

On my first time I forgot a bottle opener for the beer (thanks Ian) and a mallet for the tent pegs (ground is quite hard at Stoneleigh). And for same reason I would recommend a blowup mattress and a proper pillow
