    Malvern Show

hopefully I will be there, it's on my doorstep after all!
  2. Highly recommend a Surrey top...far quicker to put up then a normal roof....slower than than a Brolly though.....that's far easier to get up at short notice........
  3. Did you remove your water pump / use shorter belt. I have the T series engine on the superspec with the combined power steering pump and water pump and keep thinking of removing it and switching to elec pump but have no idea how easy it would be to find a shorter belt? Also keen on the pump continuing after a spirited drive and the engine off too. Cheers Ed
  4. Mine was the same. There was a flurry of news articles about this about a year back, though don't think it was resolved. If I am asked about it I will find another insurance company, told the other half to do his when they wanted to increase her insurance because of me and the course.
  5. They are worth it. I believe I had a very easy insurance claim after someone pulled out into the side of me (dual tracks). First words I said to her were "I have an in car video recorder, which was on and caught the entire incident." Next day insurance company rang and said 3rd party accepted liability. Had a near miss too on m5 (Excuse language in the clip )

  8. if I have my understanding correct, they sit behind the hub and correct the toe / camber due to the kit being a lot lighter than a Sierra.....

  12. My neighbour is a welder, and after seeing my car has started building one, from absolute scratch. It's simply amazing to watch. Wish I had the dedication / ability!
  13. it was then pic of the printer that threw me, thought that looked familiar but couldn't place where until I saw username/email address.
  14. Ah ha, the 3d printer empire starts now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3d-printer-parts-For-Rostock-Style-Delta-Printer-/161187148779?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item258780b3eb
  15. anyone see the mechano bike episode? appeared to get Isle of Man vehicular approval (like an Iva?!) with mechano radiuses.....I wonder if this could be the new way to get kits registered, register them there!?!
  16. must be buy it now on auction sites not auction to get distance selling rules. if faulty or not as described seller pays or refunds return postage (problem is eBay isn't geared towards this like amazon is). you should only be out of pocket for time and packing it. if you don't like it then you pay return postage, but should get full refund including original postage. contact paypal, they may help. failing that credit / debit card company and head towards the chargeback route. I assume you accepted the refund offer? if you did, best not to if you are not happy, else dispute is still open?

    Help

wow how much cloud storage do you have to last 6 months. i would generate over 1tb of files with average quality in 6 months with several cams

    Help

Make sure it's as high resolution and low light performance as you can afford. A couple of well placed cameras of very good quality are worth more than lots of cameras. Also make sure lighting is good. 950nm infared isn't that visible to the eye (the red glow you see from some infra red systems.) Not sure if you can use recordings from covert cameras, without a sign warning that CCTV is in use, worth checking into. Make sure recordings are time stamped. All of the above doesn't see through a balaclava, so I would spend the several hundred on physical security and loud internal and external alarms / strobes.

    Bleeding Brakes

tbh cant remember whAt i used, think it was copper grease, just enough around the nipple to seal it, didn't want to get it into the threads. cleaned it up after tightening. hope that helps ed

    Bleeding Brakes

have you covered the nipple with grease? it can draw air through threads if not which will look like loads of air in system.

    Bleeding Brakes

i use a draper hand vacum bleed. a lot easier than eezi bleed. would imagine you have to draw a lot of fluid through to clear air in the master cylinder.
