  1. Hope to be there. Shouldn't be a problem,. Will fill the form in later.
  2. That looks nice Terry. I,ll try not to drool all over it. A cobra has been my dream car for many years. I just need to do something about it like you have.

In the last of Danielles photos. Your backside sticking out of the car!

Not just your car Nick. look what i'm pointing at!
  5. The bar/pin obviously runs through the centre, so you need to make sure you don,t hit that. The best way is to remove the wishbone and do it off the car, otherwise you are going to leave swarf inside the part you are trying to protect.
  6. Some of us from the South Yorks / Derbyshire area are meeting at Trowell services on the m1 at 10.30 if that is any use to you. Anyone is welcome to join us for the run down. It would mean a early start for you though.
  7. The good thing about Phil is that once his erection is up it stays up. Be honest, we,ve all seen him performing and the big smile on his face when he's managed it is priceless. I,m always willing to lend a hand mate.
  8. I got a pair of 125lbs springs from Demon tweeks. Not sure what I paid but the price, I remember was reasonable. I just swapped the springs and kept the original shocks.
  9. Now you've got a list of Tossers, what about help with erections!
  10. As Big Jim say above. Do not just tighten the nuts on the stud. This will distort the mountings and stop the top wishbone from moving freely. If you are going to Stoneleigh this weekend you can have a look at my car, and others to see what we mean.
  11. That's nowt, when I wer a lad me mam had to wesh clothes int' steam down bottom ot' road and beat them on a rock. That rock lasted 60 odd year. We were lucky.....
  12. Yamaha R1 carbs on my 2.1L Pinto. Full choke no throttle. Always takes a while when the car has been stood a few days.
  13. I'll have the Alternator please. Will be at Stoneleigh
  14. I'm open to suggestions for meeting up times. I can fit in with any time no probs.
  15. How does 9.30 - 10 sound as a meet up time. Trowell services.
  16. Do you mean the tube that runs just in front of the nose cone and down either side. If so isn't that all part of the structural strength of the front end. On my 3A this bar runs down either side of the nose cone and then goes up and into the front cross brace where it is fully welded in. On the 3A, you need as much strength in this area as you can get. This is just my opinion of course.
  17. When I overhauled my gearbox a few years back, it was engine out! Stainless mono.
  18. I think you just get in the queue and pays your money! He'll love it. We usually meet up at the services on the M1 between J26 and J25 on the Saturday morning. That's if you're going for the week end of course.
  19. I,ve had my 3A for 12 years and never had to replace the clutch cable. Its the shorter type that runs between the exhaust manifold. Its got a piece of heat shield material covering the part of the cable near the hot pipes and has never been a problem. The problem, as you suggest, may not be with the cable but with the clutch itself.
  20. Received my invitation today and accepted. I may have been 1 of the 3 not to turn up last year as I thought my application had been rejected. Will be there all being well.
  21. There are limits, but that is or was, a disaster waiting to happen.
  22. I hope the weather isn't too bad up there. We did have some snow here (chesterfield area) around 1pm Saturday. It didn't stay long and only fell for a few mins but it was snow none the less.
