  1. I used a TX4 rear compartment heater like this in a GBS Zero. The fan can be removed and mounted remote from the heater if required. The heater box itself is plastic. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203438300392?hash=item2f5dde1ce8%3Ag%3A7~0AAOSwIz9gkDBe&LH_ItemCondition=4 Earlier TX1 and TX2 will have a metal heater box, with internal fan and they're a bit bigger overall as well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133901414555?hash=item1f2d25709b%3Ag%3AswUAAOSwn~9hZKwA&LH_ItemCondition=4

    Clutch cable

Yes much longer. It can be routed well forwards of the engine and then back to the pedal box / clutch arm. There's a not brilliant photo a bit down this page: https://nw.rhocar.org/parts2.htm

  5. Good to hear that people still have the appetite to get out this late in the year. Many people SORN cars at the end of September.
  6. I have been contacted regarding getting some regular meets going in the NW Area. The request has come from a member in Liverpool but the meets could be of interest to people in North Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire, South Lancs. If you're interesting in getting involved, please post on this thread and maybe subscribe to it so you can be kept up to date with what;s being planned. Once we have a few more details, I plan on doing a mail shot by e-mail to club members in the general are to make them aware. Community users are also welcome to get involved, the more the merrier.
  7. September was a steady month for new memberships so welcome aboard to the following new members: Robin H Robin Haslam Scarborough Robert A Rob Austen Ludlow Thomas L tom Consett Marc S Stricky Walsall Kevin L Kevin Longworth Sutton in Ashfield Kenny P Kenchenzo Eastbourne Jennifer L Jenny Australia The next 6 months are going to be quiet in terms of shows so keep and eye on the Events page for details of any meets in your local area over the coming months. The local meets are a good way of keeping in touch out of show season and we'd like to see more of them happening. You can get a good idea of other members in your area on the Member Map If you'd like to get a regular meet started in your area, let me know and I will try and help. We can e-mail people in the area to see if they're interested and help promote it on the forum and our Facebook page The meets don't need to be anything fancy, just meet at a pub or maybe at another existing event just to get things started.
  8. I've got spare flasher units and probably have hazard switches if it's a Sierra one. I'm not back at home until late Sunday night but I'm around after that.
  9. As above. Right hand side. Colour not important.
  10. Is this the bush for the triangular shaft at the bottom of the column? I see Kitspares sell the parts for this but a lot of people upgrade the bottom bush with a spherical bearing like this which is a huge improvement https://nw.rhocar.org/supporting_the_steering_shaft.htm
  11. now SOLD. Hoping to see it on the road next year.
  12. A week tomorrow (29th) , 7PM onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL Entrance to the pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island. See you there.
  13. I've been contacted regarding what looks to be a Triumph Herald based kit car chassis. The owner has passed away and now his brother is looking to sell it. It looks to be purpose made, 9'3" (282cm) long from the front anti-roll, bar to the back, 50" (127cm) wide and 19" (48cm) at the narrowest. There's a 3" x 65" (7.6cm x 165cm) propshaft, together with 4 wheels, engine, gearbox. His brother told him the chassis was worth £700 or perhaps that is what he paid. Let’s say £500 The engine and gearbox is on the Triumph website at £350 with no response so far so let’s offer that at £250 Whilst it's not a project for the feint hearted, it might be useful to someone and I think there's scope for negotiation on the prices. It's located near Harlington north of Heathrow. Interested parties can contact Patrick O'Brien on 020 8780 0690 or patob11@gmail.com
  14. I'll try and get a picture later.
  15. A good start would be to speak to Dave at Dampertech. He has plenty of experience supplying Robin Hood dampers. 01709 703992
  16. There's a copy of the 2B panel identification sheet in this thread: It's not drawn to scale but it should give you a good idea. Carbon panels weren't supplied as standard so you'll need to look around for them. Kitspares don't list full carbon arches but they may be available from elsewhere. https://kitspares.co.uk/collections/bodywork/carbon-fibre+
  17. I have Gaz dampers fitted before the handling pack and I didn't need to move the lower fixing on the wishbone.
  18. Halex Finishing 4 Kelsey Cl, Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate, Attleborough Fields Ind Estate, Nuneaton CV11 6RS
  19. If it's this on then I've fitted it: https://kitspares.co.uk/products/2b-et15-double-wishbone-handling-pack You need to have wishbone suspension to start with and this kit eliminates the bump steer in the original design. What exactly do you need to know?
  20. I'm a bit late spotting this but I'm moving the thread to Events just in case any non-members want to go.
  21. Almost worth keeping one of those in the boot. Takes up hardly any space.
