  1. Everest Windows have all members details they were sold these on 1/4/2015 so they could market a new double glazed windscreen for winter motoring.

  7. Foxton locks is not far and worth a visit Market harborough is a lovely town to wander round and has a great wine shop (Duncan Murrys) as well as a real ale shop and also a micro pub. For those who want a trip out a bit further afield you have Rutland water, or head in to leicester for the national space center or the richard the third visitors center

  14. nearly every track is an disused airfield that includes silverstone and donnington. Quite interesting the number of airfields in ww1 and 2.

  16. mallory, think they are still having problems with locals so are limited on number of days use. as such will set a price to discourage some

  18. For the past couple of years there has been efforts to stop camping in the area we have camped for many years. Last yer there were no camping signs that we chose not to see. might i suggest that an alternative location be marked on the site map just in case we cant / dont camp there or you could all end up spread over the camping areas on the show ground.
  19. Hope the pig supplied has been worked out exactly to the number attending with no more than a 5% excess working on a 75% second helping with all servings to be equal with in 2% subject to a spot check audit.
  20. When I last looked in to it Blyton was around £3500 for a week day plus £800 for marshals. A weekend was £8000. It was concluded then that it was better for a group to book on to a javelin or equivalent track day

  22. does show how strong some members feel about continuing to build the event. I cant really give an in biased view on this as I was responsible along with others for starting the event. I will admit that some of the things on posts in the past few days make me wonder if any of the current committee can work together. It would appear that we have not had a committee for much of the year and this is not down to one individual as I originally thought, please get your act together.
