Thanks all Sat in recovery. Being carefully monitored. Gave them a scare here. Apparently I was enjoying the morphine a little too much whist I slept. Breathing dropped to 3 breaths per min....now on adrenaline ish drug. Hope i ain't caught running around the ward lol

The Angels are still looking out for me. Went for s steady drive this morning. Just passed speed camera for 40 limit. 100 yes in front White van man decided he'd to a U turn. Hardly had time to brake/ react. Hit the van mid drift doing 40-50 (was now in national limit) Both legs well and truly pinned. My youngest daughter was following behind with her boyfriend. They also nearly hit the van but skidded to a stop next to me. Noticed smoke and flames from under bonnet. Adrenaline kicked in and I somehow got my mangled legs free. Daughters boyfriend and van driver dragged me clear as fire took hold. Had the full bag of mashing arrive including air ambulance.. Now in hospital awaiting surgery tomorrow on both knees. Broke knee cap on right + 3" cut to bone Broke FEMA around left knee and 6" gash to bone. A real testament to AK cars for strength as injuries probably worst in anything else. Going to enjoy the morphine now and hopefully home for xmas. Can't post pixies so maybe someone can lift them from FBOok for me Once back on my feet will be looking for a new beast so I can use the mountain of new parts I ordered for the winter mod... Only 3 of nine lives left I reckon

Really sorry to hear this Phil. But as Jaimo says mate... We both Know something what your going through. Its not nice, but she will get through it. Both me and Jaimo are still here and going strong...You will both be the same looking back in a few months time. The treatment is a bitch but with family support you will all pull through. So chin up mate, try to keep positive..my thoughts are with you all.

MK1 MX5 units will fit the standard 7" and are really good with halogens. Used them on my Sr2. Always could see what I was about to hit well in advance Nice cheap alternative

Great turnout again..Good to see evryone again...been a few months for me. But at least made it this time. Was very funny with the V8 sound off...lol certainly woke up the neighbourhood (Me with my 5.7l V8, Rich with his 3.5V8, and Marcus with his Monaro V8 with modified loud exhausts........ ) There were a few rather excited hoodies walking around the carpark

If I remember to fit the rad cap this time I should be there....
