  7. Have you seen this page? https://spiyda.com/Link/WIZARD.html It's probably 8 years ago since I did mine, no longer have the car & I think the design has changed, but contact Chris (sure that's his name) will be very helpful.
  8. I ordered the gauge matcher Phaeton recommended above wired in followed instructions (to the best of my ability) now just reads full all the time, I’m presuming there is more to setting this up than I first thought https://spiyda.com/fuel-gauge-wizard-mk3.html
  9. Hi , Can you use rivnuts on the plastic car body? Thanks Chris

Worked well for me. Good work Steve, thank you.
  12. I love the orange, but I am biased
  13. Hi Nelmo, the powder coaters have now got the bonnet in Matt and if it had not been damaged it would be a fantastic job, I am going to try and get it straightened today at an engineers I know who have a press, worst case I think I’m going to have a hood scoop made to suit the full top covering the damage once most of the dent it removed. I will pop some pictures on later. It is better to have powder rather than paint but sadly the parts need blasting first to remove all the crap. The sad thing is the company I have used do a bloody great job, it’s just one of those things when damage occurs, makes it worse when the young lad who did it won’t take responsibility.
  14. You were going to powder coat stainless steel? Is that even possible? Or is that way to effectively paint it? Surely that can be straightened out? If not by them, they should pay for someone else to. Best bet is to call Kit Spares - they may be able to help.
  15. Hi All, I am reaching out on a limb here as probably the only part that nobody has knocking around spare but I need to ask. Does anyone have or know where I can get a Bonnet for a MK3A even if it’s a fibreglass version Basically the powder coating company near me has allowed an apprentice to prep my bonnet and he has managed to bend it. I am devastated given I have spent hours sorting build issues from the original builder, fitting upgrades, bodywork fabrication etc the list goes on. I literally dropped the bonnet last week and got the call today. The gutting thing is that I was hoping to have it ready for Malvern…. Many thanks in advance Paul
  16. Hi Jez, thank you for the advice, love the orange man

Got mine - works well for me
  18. Nice one - I haven't done that run for a couple of years now but I remember that Alfa Montreal - he still has those horrendous, modern black wheels on it!
  19. On mine I reprofiled the front and rear of the stainless to bring arches down and filled gap left at top with new stainless. I rebent the bottom returns one tab up at rear and two at front, this is the max you can go keeping some angle from body to outer wing.
  20. Hi Alan, Can't believe that a month has past allready, Just been looking at last months post, do you realise that 234 people looked at that post, so how do we manage to get them to come out of their Man cave's and arrive in Sunny Chester-le-Street for an evening of scintelating conversation and a quite drink. I hope to be able to force my way through the throng of Members eager to attend on Tuesday see you there. Living in hope Allan

    Spring 2024 magazine

Moving forward (slowly) into the "paperless" age, we have just sent out PDF copies of the magazine to all members who were happy to receive it in that format. This is the first time we have tried it so we expect a few ‘glitches’. I could try telling you that these are deliberate features of the system designed to ensure security, equality and privacy but you wouldn't believe me If you haven’t received a copy (please check any ‘spam’ folders first) then notify Alan Richey (username alanrichey) and he will send you a copy. Thanks, Steve
