  1. Dangerous ground I'm afraid. I'm off the impression this had been built and then put on the road using a Robin Hood log book. Just my opinion mate.
  2. Heres a link to there website, you'd normally downlaod an application form and send that off, but it appears the download package as been taken down? I know the deadline is the 30th of this month so it may be that it's too late for this year? http://www.hollowellsteam.com/downloads/index.php
  3. Standard M12 is 1.75mm pitch. Metric fine M12 is 1.25mm. Wheel nut? I wouldn't....
  4. Ì heard he'd dropped a fiver at the hotel and was flying back to collect it?
  5. Last I saw he was stuffing his face with freebies at the airport.
  6. I wouldn't miss this even if it meant I had to walk. Lovely Idea Ivan.
  7. Shaft

    Iva Fail

A small list to sort Spencer, as Mark says, and a testament to your build quality with the comments from the tester. You should feel proud.
  8. You'll be rate Ian. You've figured out how to use the dogs ball throwing thingy majig so IVA should be a breeze.
  9. Rang a few boat owners and they all recommended booking nearer the time. I was going to resurrect this thread the start of June.
  10. Halfords? You won the lottery Stuart?
  11. No excuse not to get it on the RR then Mr Marsh....
  12. I'm buying shares in petroleum! Nice ride buddy, looking forward to hearing it.
  13. If you abraded the inside of the arches and degreased thoroughly Mark, they'll be going nowhere mate. Thanks for the recognition by the way.
  14. As Chris says above, plus, also try turning the ignition off and cycling the glow plugs again before cranking the engine.
  15. I used to race in Comp Safari. Far more adrenaline inducing than a trackday if I'm honest. Mr Johnson is the club Rally Expert, don't let him tell you different.
  16. Do you get a large puff of dense 'Black' smoke on start up that clears almost instantly, hot or cold?
  17. A diesel will start without glow plugs but the colder it is the more reluctant it will be to do so. It should fire instantly to be honest, diesels start easily. Be careful removing the plugs mate, they can snap very easily. The light you see on the dash is merely an indicator that the plugs are getting 12v. They're fed through a timer relay.
  18. Just because the glow plug dash light is working doesn't mean the glow plugs are. Remove them and test, they should glow red hot on the tip of working. They make fantastic 12v soldering irons.
  19. About all day tomorrow or any evening next week mate.
  20. I have both Gazebos and all 3 event shelters. Phil has all the flags, bunting etc.
  21. Hoping to be down the same time as this Bob, just need to confirm dates. Nick +7.
