  2. If you want a slip diff that works the ATB is the nuts. One of the best mods I did to my car. But only nessary if you are spinning up everywhere..
  3. so what is goog runner?
  4. I have my Lucas wiper motor self parking by the use of a relay utilizing the 87 normally open and the 87a normally closed. Sadly I don't have a wiring diagram anymore and I can't remember how I did it but it works a treat and is 2 speed as well.
  5. I've been in a pursuit of power for yrs in fact a drive home from a meet in my 2b pinto when a zero and mk Indy absolutely destroyed me. Set me off 1st was the the v8 ok but not great, then the bike engine quick but no torque and hard work to drive the the zetec which has always been better than all the previous engines but now with charger it's utter mental, so much fun and quicker than u could ever want on the rd. Blacktop / st and red7 and you Will have an awesome combo
  6. My standard silvertop 2.0l ran 170bhp With a good exhaust and dcoe carbs and basic spark only ignition. Later on I added fz2002 cams which were meant to be worth 20bhp. Beyond on that it's get you wallet out time...
  7. Easy enough to remove and check it will be stamped on the components
  8. Sounds like carbs to me, are they dcoe? If so my 45.s on zetec had 140mains f16 tubes f8 50 idles and 36mm chokes and ran fine. What are your old carbs jetted at?
  9. Does anyone have one laying around unused and cheap, even if the alternator is fried as long as the pump works i want the vacuum pump to try and experiment with a supercharger bypass valve control Cheers
  10. Will bring the banshee out for this one
  11. I bolted through the car bulkhead canems earths on the inside, engine earth strap on the engine bay side...
  12. If you are convinced its the loom then Making a new loom is not hard, a little time consuming perhaps. I wired my canems ecu from scratch, much as it seems complicated it isn't. I.m sure emerald can supply a wiring diagram. Just follow it one wire at a time and have one decent point for all engine loom earths. Took me a good few days but it worked 1st time no issue and is way cheaper and better quailty than any bought loom.
  13. Take it 're misfire you have eliminated cool plugs leads etb?
  14. Etb gauges full set all working. Cable driven Speedo, 4cylinder tacho, matched oil pressure and water temp sender inc. Only thing not inc is a fuel sender. £200
  15. Not a fan of toyo tyres had t1r on my atomic and they were rubbish, also tried r888.s which are fine if you don't get caught in the wet if you do they are lethal!
  16. I've got useable and rebuildable. Make me an offer
  17. any one tried these ? they are looking like a good option as they have reasonable wet rating ( i need more rear grip in the banshee the pilot sport 3 are great tyres but cannot handle the brutal bhp and torque delivery on the banshee.
